Movie Review: I, Robot

It's the year 2035, and the community now has the help of robots. These robots have three laws integrated into their system. One, they cannot harm a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. Two, they must do whatever they're told by a human being as long as such orders don't conflict with law one. Three, they have to defend themselves as long as such defense doesn't conflict with laws one or two. One day, the writer of the three laws, Alfred Lanning, apparently jumps out of the tenth-floor window of U.S. Robotics. The majority of the Chicago Police Department believe that he committed suicide, but Detective Del Spooner, who hates robots, thinks he was murdered, and the number one suspect is a Nestor Class-5 robot who calls himself Sonny. However, if it was Sonny, then that means he would've had to have broken the three laws. With the help of Dr. Susan Calvin, Spooner must now discover the truth before it's too late. - Written by Ridly Lavine.

Movie Review: The Wedding singer

He has big boofy hair, big poofy shoulder pads and a big line up of 80's electronic songs. But it is 1985 after all, and Robbie Hart is the most talented, thin black tie wearing wedding singer in town.

In between asking if 'Video Killed the Radio Star' or pleading "do you really want to hurt me?', he schmoozes the taffeta-clad crowd, giving the bride and groom the ultimate 'white wedding'.

However when Robbie's own fiancee dumps him at the altar, his acts turn tragic. Now he's singing 'Love Stinks' and depressing the newlyweds before they've even started married life! He's hit an all time low, until new waitress, Julia shows up. Now 'Every little thing she does is magic' but there's one problem. Her fiancee...

Director:Frank Coraci
Starring: Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore
Rating: M

My Opinion: It was a real laugh out loud movie. Lots of sexual references, so maybe parents should watch it first. 4/5

THE BEST BIT: Steve Buscemi as the drunk brother of the groom....hilarious!

THE WORST BIT: Listening to Robbie's fiancee,, Lisa talk. She's as crafty as a snake. Not to mention her voice is incredibly annoying.....

Movie Reveiw: The Forbidden Kingdom

The Forbidden Kingdom starts when a Kung Fu obsessed teenage boy, is sent back to ancient China to rid the land of the ruthless Jade warrior, and free the imprisoned Monkey King.

Director : Rob Minkoff
Stars: Jackie Chan, Jet Li
Rating: PG

My Opinion: Well, I've been waiting, like FOREVER to see this movie. When I actually did see it, to be honest, I was disappointed. It wasn't the best movie, and it defiantly wasn't the worst. I give it 3/5

One of the best film clips ever?

I know this is gonna sound maybe just a bit weird, but One of my fave music video's in Barbie Girl, By AQUA. It's really quite clever how they set it up to look like an actual plastic world! Here is the link to watch it on YouTube: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=pxn567bHny8

Anyway, keep that smile on your face, and don't forget to comment!

Pirates 4?

So I was on You Tube, just cruising......when suddenly a video popped out of the screen, and this is what it said: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4 TEASER! Was I excited? If you call screaming and running around the house excited. I have since spent the past hour googling it. here's the goss.

Some franchises just don’t know when to quit. Whether or not people are getting sick and tired of the whole Pirates of the Caribbean thing, when a franchise makes that much money, it’s hard to let it die. We’ve been hearing rumblings about a possible fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie for months now, but tonight I got an email from the old friend of the site which not only confirmed a fourth movie will almost certainly be happening, but dropped details on where the series may end up going when it continues.

Our source says that Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is no longer just a possibility, it’s almost a certainty. More importantly, Johnny Depp is all but assured to return, though our scooper claims he may end up making as much as $35 - $40 million to do it. Also returning will be Geoffrey Rush and Gore Verbinski as director, but forget about the rest of the cast because from now on the movies will only be about Captain Jack. -
